Alexander Burganov (born 1935) is a Russian sculptor, a National Artist of Russia, and a member of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts. His art is generally abstract and often uses fragments of human or animal bodies (especially horses) to build a bigger picture. Nicholas Alexandrovich, Tsesarevich and Grand Duke of Russia (1843–1865), called Nixa, was Tsesarevich—the heir apparent—of Imperial Russia from 2 March 1855 until his death in 1865.
