About this 3D model

The Pietà (Italian, meaning Pity or Compassion) is a subject in Christian art depicting the Virgin Mary cradling the dead body of Jesus, post the lamentation of his corpse taken from the crucifix. This is a German version of the work from the second half of the 14th Century (pre-renaissance). It was scanned at The Old Master Sculpture & Works of Art auction at Sotheby's, London.
