About this 3D model
Nuestra Madre de las Angustias, or simply Our Mother, is one of the most popular images of devotion in the city of Zamora since the beginning of the Modern Age. The current image is the work of Ramón Álvarez, who completed it in 1879. The Virgin is a frame, with only head, feet and hands carved; The recumbent Christ is fully carved, standing out for the artist's ability to make it lighter, reaching a thickness of just over 5 millimeters at some points, and is completed with a silver cross on a wooden frame. The table, designed by Antonio Pedrero, is carried on the shoulders of 27 porters.
