When printing with PLA, it is often a good idea to keep the glass door or glass lid open to maintain a low chamber temperate. Otherwise, heat creep might cause the extruder to get clogged. This designs mounts securely onto the plastic lid tab and holds the glass lid open at a slight angle without any play. Files: GTR : original shown in pictures, uses 6x2mm magnets GTR - no magnets : Magnet features removed GTR - 5mm magnets : modified to use 5mm diamte magnets instead Requires: 2pcs - 6mm (diameter) x 2mm (height) cylinder magnets Features: Robust and secure (worry less about it coming loose due to vibrations) Holes for mounting magnet to store at the back of the printer (press fitted magnets) Prints without support (there are some bridges) Does not make contact with the glass, no foam needed to prevent scratching
