This is a custom-designed enclosure lid for the Snapmaker U1, created to improve airflow control, temperature stability, and overall printing performance. The lid is designed to work with a 2mm plexiglass panel, allowing visibility inside the printer while maintaining a semi-closed environment. On the top side, the design includes a dedicated ventilation cap, making it easy to regulate airflow depending on your printing needs. The system supports the installation of two cooling fans, which can be used either for active ventilation (removing heat and fumes) or controlled airflow management when printing materials like PLA. The structure is optimized for FDM 3D printing using PLA, ensuring a good balance between strength, ease of printing, and dimensional accuracy. The parts are designed to print without complex supports and are suitable for standard printers. A major advantage of this model is that it is provided in STEP format, allowing full editability.
