About this 3D model

This cast depicts a male right foot wearing a sandal. The cast of a foot is possibly from a statue of the god Hermes. The Royal Academy probably purchased it from Domenico Brucciani & Co, a firm that manufactured casts for art schools and museums. The firm had a large catalogue of casts, including architectural reliefs, natural history subjects and full-size figures after the Antique which were supplied to art schools for students to draw from.
