Elias had a troubled youth. So much anger. So much pride. The service channelled that anger. The cloth focused his pride. He was a terror on the battlefield. A force of nature. An act of God. Eventually he found his way to peace, to humility. Somehow his path has led him back to the trenches. He seeks no glory now, and neither those he saves nor those he sends to the pit ever know that their deliverance or judgement came at his steady hands.
