The Santiago-Pattern Infantry Fighting Vehicle is a more flexible machine than the more commonplace Markhor, and is much more sought after. Designed to swiftly deliver The Empire's elite shock troops deep into the heart of the battle and give them direct fire support, the Santiago rolls forwards on six rugged wheels built to handle the roughest terrain the galaxy can offer, without sacrificing speed, agility, or lethality. It's more basic configuration is equipped with a pair of heavy machine guns that will make any infantry foe think twice, while the more heavily armed Prime variant is capable of mounting weapons typically only seen on proper tanks. Heavy cannons offer versatility to face any foe, while the gatling gun is built to scythe down hordes of alien abominations without breaking a sweat. The tank hunter configuration carries four powerful recoilless rifles that allow the Santiago to punch above its weight, even when enemy armor threatens.
