About this 3D model

In my country it is compulsory to separate waste collection: Nescafè Dolce Gusto capsules have a plastic casing, the upper membrane and the internal filter are made of aluminium, and once used they must also be emptied of the coffee powder which is not recycled (the you can use as fertilizer for plants). The capsules can be opened with any knife, but it's easy to get injured so I designed this simple tool to cut both the upper and inner membranes faster and safer. You must also be careful not to touch the blades! To assemble this tool, proceed as follows: 1. Using tweezers, place two segments of the 9 mm cutter blade in the appropriate slots on the Main Body (do not do it with your fingers, these blades are very sharp) ; 2. position the two semi-circular pieces ("Blade Pusher") so that they keep the blades blocked; 3. insert the central element ("Locking Element") to do this it will be necessary to use force, help yourself by tapping it with a small hammer or a piece of wood. Do not press it with bare hands as there is a risk of injury from the blades. To use: 1. hold the capsule from below with one hand, with the other place the blades on the lid of the capsule. Don't touch the blades! 2. Rotate the tool at least 180° clockwise and the blades will cut the lid (it is a thin layer of aluminium). If the capsule contains insoluble powder (e.g. coffee), push the tool inside the capsule and rotate it again, this will cut the internal membrane and you can remove the coffee. 3. Remove the tool and store it always in a safe place with the blades pointing down. If you want to replace the blades, proceed in reverse order to assembly (and for the last time... be careful not to injure yourself with the blades!)
