About this 3D model

This lively bust seems to belie the fact that the sitter had died two years earlier. However, Charles Rossi, the sculptor, had known the architect George Dance for nearly three decades. Rossi decorated the base with faint horizontal lines but no other details. Without the softening drapery seen in other works, there is little to distract from the realistically carved head and neck.
