This snowflake spins has a central vertical axis so the two inner snowflakes can spin freely. This is a print in place model, but the gaps are small so you will have to twist each part until it is free. Once free it should rotate easily. Larger gaps would avoid this, but then the inner two pieces fall out too easily.
