About this 3D model
For a sturdy, functional vase mode print, I used a 0.8mm E3D V6 nozzle. Find it and other types of nozzles here! (affiliate links) A simple, elegant little dish that fits anywhere in the house. The form is based on a hexagon rotating constantly and expanding quickly at first and then slowly as it rises. I really like the almost skeletal ridges on the outside—they're somehow reminiscent of a seashell. I've included 2 versions of the model: a 'solid' version to be printed in vase mode (which is how I printed the example) and a 'hollow' version to be printed normally.
