Summary I remixed this spool holder as I needed it to be wider to accommodate some spools slimmed down for other spools that had a narrow centre. Also added a 3rd bearing spot. Lastly I added a small hole near the bolt to insert and hold the filament when it is pulled out of your extruder. This hole is very small and barely fits 1.75 mm filament but no need to drill it out - I simply forced a piece of filament through using needle nose pliers and 'flossed' the hole so that filament fits in easy but has enough friction so it can be held in place.
