With the House of Qita being built of takwin creations, the Alchemists that have fundamentally studied and perfected the creation of the homunculi that populate the grand Seraglio. Magically bound to their Mistress, Alchemists are foundational for the House and many come to be magically coerced regardless of their creation if they have learned as a Miyaa'h or if their soul has been harvested from a Sultanate-studied Alchemists captured among the trenches. Regardless of their origin, studied alchemists garner many boons joining the House, even if their duties are widely understated. With inhuman bodies, Alchemists gain exceptional constitution for the esoteric and strange studies, capable of work without rest or concern for the toxic chemicals or gases that could kill or disfigure when their bodies can be reconstituted and repaired with relative ease, but even moreso are the texts of alchemical knowledge that the Sultanate has long forbidden, kept in the deep vaults of the Seraglio and safe by the magical guards upon Qita's Alchemists. While each are built to serve Aisha, the Alchemists are by and large offered a great deal of independence, up to and including the creation of more Alchemists under their tutelage and service, so long as they yet too serve Aisha and the House of Qita in earnest. Often the command of the bands that rove out from the safety of the Seraglio to claim anything of benefit that the House may use, from disparate souls to relics and materials for their various experiments and studies.
