About this 3D model

I wanted a spool weight for my Extrudr spools so this happened. It has holes in each end for optional desiccant. It has been verified as working with the following Extrudr spools: 1kg NX2 PLA 750g DuraPro ASA 1.1kg PETG This spool weight screws up reassuringly tightly compared to others I have. It is recommended to close and open it a few times before you use it the first time to wear it in a little. Printing The model is designed to be printed directly on the print bed with no supports. I used a 0.4 nozzle with a 0.2mm layer height for everything, and printed the above model using Extrudr NX-2 black. Versions 2023.12.09: Remove final chamfered edge to aid printability. Add text on side of barrel so it is easy to tell what type of spool this is for. Fix an internal edge to help prevent defects. 2023.12.07: Following feedback, modify the bumps to not be chamfered, be longer and have an easier to grip surface, to allow it to be closed and opened more easily. 2023.12.06: Initial version.
