Monument to the People's Heroes is located in the center of Tian 'anmen Square in Beijing, about 463 meters south of Tian 'anmen Square and 440 meters north of Zhengyangmen Gate. It is a Monument built by the government of the People's Republic of China to commemorate revolutionary martyrs in modern and contemporary Chinese history.
