The Dwarf Runepriest raises his hammer and brings it down upon the etched metal rune, each blow calling forth the buried power of his people’s oldest magic. With every strike, the living strength of the dwarven race is drawn out and forged into deadly omens for their enemies—wards that harden armour, sigils that sharpen axes, runes that promise ruin. The thunder of hammer on anvil rolls across the ranks, an echo from elder ages that wraps nearby warriors in a grim, fearsome aura. Around him, the winds of magic snarl and twist, but he does not bow to them: he binds them, shapes them, and drives them where he wills with every ringing impact of his hammer upon the rune-forged steel.
