About this 3D model
This is a base of a marble column that has been scanned in Taormina, Sicily. The column is situated on the left side of the entrance of the ex-Church of Saint Agostino in IX of April Square. The Church originally built in 1486, was built by the same citizens to honour their patron and protector Saint Sebastiano. In 1530 the Church passed in the hands of the Augustinians who made the last changes. Today the building is a library and hosts the library heritage coming from all the old monasteries of the area.
