About this 3D model

The CRYO LORDS TOMB DIORAMA lives inside its own 3D printed 20×20×20 cm box. Every box is printed on five faces, with one sliding face that you can remove to access the scene. Inside, magnetised surfaces keep your printed scenery firmly in place, so you can build, rearrange with ou 3 sides diorama base or transport your small worlds with confidence. This DIORAMA is part of a set named BEYOND. Our goal with BEYOND is simple: Create a compact, modular diorama system that looks great on a shelf,Works as a photography/team display environment,And rewards hobbyists like us who enjoy printing, painting and make THAT unique custom terrain. DIORAMA THEME AND DESIGN PHILOSOPHY Four journeys. Four atmospheres. One system. Diorama 2 – The Cryo Lords Tomb Once upon a time, there was an Advanced Civilisation that solved the biggest Mystery of All, Immortality. But with Immortality came Despair, and to forget about their longing, they built themselves Metal Tomb carrying the greatness of their Power. Some might think the story ends here, but don't come lurking, as they are not welcoming visitors... Once again, science mixes with the spirit of Egypt to bring a Anubis Vortex like spirit. This can be used with the normal configuration or with 3 panels only. The configuration covers more than the 3 sides, but that's the best way to ensure your pictures look perfect! All floor details can be moved. As always the details are stunning, every thing is easy to print, and a lot of things are made separately so you can arrange the place as you wish. Design goals: Easy to print: optimised for common FDM printers; no crazy overhangs wherever possible.Easy to paint: strong shapes and readable details that respond well to drybrushing, washes and zenithal priming.Modular: interior elements are separate pieces so you can rearrange, reuse or kitbash them with your existing collection. BOX AND MAGNETS : HOW IT WORKS At the heart of BEYOND is the box system: 5 printed faces form the box: floor, back wall, two sides and the top.The top face slides out like a lid, so you can access the scene, move minis, and take pictures easily. It also facilitate the print and the decor insertion. Inside the walls and floor, we designed magnet-ready zones. You can insert small neodymium magnets and mirror them in your scenic elements. Once in place, your decor locks into the box and stays in position – even if you move it or tilt it. The files are provided with: Clear exterior volumes sized for 20×20×20 cm at 100% scale.Guides for magnet placement so you don’t have to guess where to drill or cut. Also for those who already possess the Painter's Fortress, we provide a cube with the right magnets elements, so you can easily integrate your diorama into the Painter's Fortress. Because we love what we did, we want to continue upgrading it! The strength of our system relies on the fact that it's modular, and to showcase that, we made a 3-sided diorama base, that makes everything easier to present, and facilitates the pictures. Our two 3 sided base (left and right) includes the same magnets that you can use for the full cube. We include a short PDF guide showing recommended magnet sizes, orientation, printing and assembly order. FRAMES FOR DIORAMA The finish of our dioramas won't be perfect without a front frame. We thought a lot about what could be done to have style, but also add value to the diorama. That's why each front is proposed with 3 systems : A simple one, with magnets, just to decorateOne made to work with a thin led strip, so you can illuminate the inside, with a lot of "clips" to print and hold your led string One made to work with a large led strip, and with a lateral exit so you can connect it to an electric plug. Also the style was important for us.... So we are proposing One with a style working with the DIORAMA The top element can be printed separately and then assembled, either because you want to print it in resin, either just to facilitate the print.
