About this 3D model
Boost Me Did this solve an annoying problem for you? chip in a boost as a thanks! UPDATE: it has come to my attention that the part you need to make this may only come with the A1 and not the A1 mini. I don't own an A1 mini so I am not sure if A1 mini owners have the parts they need to make this. This is an arm bolt-on for this Simple Spool Holder: https://makerworld.com/en/models/27544#profileId-28130 In the pictures I provided you can see I was using a mini-sized spool but this works great with full-sized 1kg spools you will remove the PTFE cap from your A1/A̵1̵ ̵m̵i̵n̵i̵'̵s̵ standard (not AMS) filament arm (use your printer's included Allen wrench on the end of the metal ball, I attached a picture of where the Allen wrench goes. The whole white plastic arm shown in my pictures will come off in once piece. The white plastic part does not rotate while unscrewing, the metal ball will slowly rise from the white arm until the white arm detaches from the rest of the filament holder) Required parts: 2 M3x16 bolts (longer are okay) 2 M3 washers 2 M3 nuts the intended use case is for people that are using a separate spool holder above their printer. if you do not use this arm, your printer's filament tangle sensor will trigger false positives. If you disable the tangle sensor, the end of the PTFE tube can get stuck on the walls of your filament spool, causing the printer to not extrude without warning.
