About this 3D model

With this adapter you can equip a MagLite 3D with 2x18650 Lithium batteries instead of 3xLR20. You need to also change the bulb, as the voltage will be higher with up to 8.4V. There are plenty of B13.5S LED bulbs available. Optionally you can add an BMS and USB-C charger, see last picture for schematic. BOM: M3 screws, nuts and washers for battery connection points 4xM2 screws to mount the end-cap spring, i used one out of a old hole puncher, see photos for dimensions a few cm wire optional: 2S-BMS optional: USB-C Charger optional: 3 cable lugs, you could also solder the wires directly
