About this 3D model
This is a tool for evenly tensioning belts and correcting a skewed gantry. The plates have varying widths and are inserted into the belt tensioner gap. Case 1: Normal Belt Tensioning: Loosen the screws on the belt tensioner Position the print head in the center, then press towards the door and hold firmly Tighten the screws on the belt tensioner Case 2: Increasing Belt Tension: Loosen the screws on the belt tensioner Position the print head in the center, then press towards the door and hold firmly Measure the gap between the belt tensioner and the sheet metal on both sides Add the same measurement to both sides and select the corresponding shims Insert the shims into the gap and tighten the screws on the belt tensioner Case 3: Aligning a Skewed Gantry: Loosen the screws on the belt tensioner Position the print head in the center, then press towards the door and hold firmly Measure the gap between the belt tensioner and the sheet metal on both sides Add different measurements to both sides and select the corresponding shims Insert the shims into the gap and tighten the screws on the belt tensioner Print a 100x100mm test file and measure the diagonal Repeat the process until the printer prints at a right angle
