About this 3D model

This spoolholder is ment to hold spools up to 1kg. Spool centerhole from 50,2mm upwards and max spoolwidth 85mm. So most spools should fit. I advise you to tap the holes before inserting the screws, the plastic could snap otherwise. You will need the following hardware: 1x PC4 M10 PTFE-fitting which goes into the arm 1x M4 x 10mm countersunk screaw for the knob 3X M3 x 14mm countersunk screaw for the gearbox 1x M4 x 20mm countersunk screaw to hold the gearbox on the shaft 2x M3 x 20mm cylinderhead screw to mount the spoolholder to the printer 1x M4 x 50mm cylinderhead screw to combine the 2 parts of the side spoolholder Assembly order: Slide the pulley on the shaft, next install the lower gearbox part on the shaft, holding it with 1x M4 x 20mm screw. Next put the gears inside the box, so that the holes line up and the wings are in the closed position. Put the upper gearbox part on top and hold it in place with 3 M3 x 14mm screws. Adjust the tightness so, that the gears rotate freely. Next install the knob with 1 M4 x 10mm screw. Now combine the assembly with the 2nd part of the sidespoolholder, fixing it with 1 M4 x 50mm screw Lastly install the PC4 M10 PTFE-fitting I ve got some inspiration from similar designs i've seen on the internet, but created this completly from scratch.
