About this 3D model
This conversion is not for the faint of heart and you will lose the 2-speed transmission in the FCX24. It requires cutting out the stock skid and drilling four holes in the stock chassis. However, when you're done you have a very clean setup that performs very well.1. Remove the stock motor/transmission, ESC/RX, battery, shift servo, and shift linkage.2. Cut out the stock skid and file/sand the inside of the chassis rails smooth.3. Screw the drill guide into one side of the chassis using the upper link screws. Drill holes with a 1.7mm bit.4. Remove the drill guide and repeat on the other side.5. Test the new holes on both sides and self-tap using M2*4mm screws.6. Attach the new skid using (4) M2*4mm screws.7. Mount the Micro Komodo/mount/transmission to the skid.8. Route the motor wires and install the battery divider using the stock screws for the shift servo.9. Finish the install (ESC, RX, etc.).
