About this 3D model

The popular 3D printing test model deformed to its utmost absurdity. The new 3D print torture test gang is calling themselves "The Strenchies" which have wreak havoc amongst the benchy population and are now coming to infiltrate your collection aswell. This is a modified version of the most popular 3D printer test object, the "3D Benchy" by Creative Tools (original model on Thingiverse, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:763622 ). Each of the gang members were stretched 200% in either X, Y or Z directions but compensated in another dimension to retain the same volume as the original . Therefore the amount of material and print time is roughly the same as for the standard 3DBenchy. Here is a short overview of the print profiles and some tips for 3D printing (all applied in the print profiles): The "Tall Boy" : Traits: can see farther than you ever will intimidates its enemy from above Printing tips and info: print time approx. 58 min @ 0.2 mm (with prepare time), 14.0 g requires a brim since the contact area to the buildplate turned out somehwat small The "Wide Boy" : Traits: does not fit the door sometimes can (and will) push you over, including everything around you Printing tips and info: print time approx. 44 min @ 0.2 mm (with prepare time), 13.7 g benefits from some supports under the hull but is also fully printable without. Regardless, the underside will look somewhat horrible at 0.2 mm layer height. The “Long Boy” Traits: faster... definitely faster has significant advantage in sprint races Printing tips and info: print time approx. 42 min @ 0.2 mm (with prepare time), 12.1 g the tip of the hull curls up during printing. The model is oriented in such a way, that the left-side auxillary cooling fan is blowing directly onto the tip. Otherwise prints normally and does not require any special treatment. The "The Strenchies - 3 plates" profile features all abominations on three different plates to be printed consecutively. The "The Strenchies - 1 plate" profile features all three spawns of hell on a single plate to be printed "by object". Possible to print in different colours if you have an AMS with only two colour changes(!)
