This project was born from the desire to improve both the aesthetic appearance and the functionality of a cylinder composed of six main components. Among these, the clevis, the cylinder body, and the rear section play a fundamental role, enabling the creation of a fully integrated system with an internal elastic return. The key feature of this solution is the elastic element itself, which is completely hidden inside the cylinder body, ensuring a clean and highly realistic result. The entire cylinder has undergone a complete redesign. One of the most significant changes was the removal of the original hydraulic tube, which caused several issues during the printing phase. Another modification concerns the cylinder rod. The original version has been replaced with a hollow steel tube, with an inner diameter of 5 mm, an outer diameter of 6 mm, and a length of 200 mm. This choice allows for a much more realistic simulation of both the appearance and behavior of a real piston rod. Finally, the end cap of the cylinder is glued only after the assembly is completed, ensuring a solid and precise final structure. This project represents a successful balance between functionality, simplicity of construction, and aesthetics. The final result is a realistic cylinder with clean lines and an easy assembly process.
