Need a heavy duty vehicle to make starship repairs in a vacuum? Star port looking for tugs for larger ships? Salvagers looking to break down derelict hulls? The Spidercrab is a 28mm scale space utility vehicle platform for tabletop gaming. It folds up into a compact form that can be stored in a small area, and once launched, can extend its large industrial arms to manipulate the space environment. A manipulator claw and laser cutter/welder allow fine manipulation of the environment, while the main arms have magnetic clamps for ataching to hulls or holding cladding or other materials, as well as ripper claws for prying and tearing up wreckage. The spidercrab assebles completely gluelessly and prints entirely support free on an FDM printer. The arms, main thrusters and maipulator arms are all fully articulated. The pressurised cabin is fully detailed and has room for a worker to store supplies, a cot, or other creature comforts.
