My take on a silica box to fit in a filament storage box Like all my designs it is a little overbuilt but I needed a box that could be mounted in the box and take the odd hit from spools. It uses a sliding lid that is kept in place with an M6 x 16mm bolt and captive nut. NOTES: Printed in PLA do not use to dry the silica beads Ensure you have a clean built plate and good bed adhesion as the box likes to warp. The lid on plate 2 has a hole for a humidity gauge, bear in mind this stops the lid from being completely removed. The cutout is designed so the gauge can be rotated 45° and removed.
