About this 3D model

A simple thumb rest or “pedal” for your SIG P365. It should be able to help with indexing and recoil control. Because the P365's takedown lever is placed quite rearward, it's hard to get a pedal lever, so I made this model for you. Printing Suggestions Make sure you print them vertically (as shown in the hotbed screenshot) to avoid the z-direction strength issue with the rail clamp. I suggest a 0.12mm layer height to reduce the staircase pattern. If you don't mind the look, 0.2mm works just fine. I suggest using stronger and stiffer materials, such as PC, ABS, and CF-added materials. PLA, PETG, or Nylon not advised. By doing so you are not only saving time and money, you would also be supporting my design : ) Really appreciated. M3*20mm Hex Cup Screws 2pcs Class 10.9 or 12.9 advised. M3 Hex Nuts 2pcs Locking nuts advised, alternatively use regular nut with Loctite. Variants High Profile: this version sticks out from the side of the frame more, provides bigger platform for your finger. Low Profile: this version is thinner and less protruding. Correspondingly, provides slightly smaller platform for your finger. Universal Clamp: this is the clamp part that mounts to the narrow rail of P365, on which you can add your model of other accessories. Adjusting position of the pad to fit your hand People's thumbs differ in length. This model's pad has a decent length to put your finger pulp at. However, if you would like to adjust the pad's position, please select “split to objects” in Bambu Studio, and move the pad part along the longitudinal direction as you see fit. Ambidexterity The models are based off right-handed users. Please print them in mirror if you would like a left-handed variant. Rail End Bevel You may find the end of rail clamp not entirely fitting into the length of the rail on your P365. You can use a flush cutter (nail clipper would do too) to cut off a tiny corner off it. This design is intentional. Layer staircase may compromise strength of that part, and printed dimension may not perfectly fit your rail length, therefore this manual step could ensure a snug fit onto the rail and reduce longitudinal slippage.
