Natural Light Window Art I got some of the Bambu Lab PETG translucent filament and I wanted to create something to showcase the different colors using natural light, thickness and various infill patterns instead of just trying to make the prints “clear and smooth”. I came up with my Natural Light Window Art pieces that can easily be hung on a window or glass door using inexpensive suction cup hooks. This is a collection of 6 different prints and 3 different frames to choose from, to match your own personal style and decor. Translucent Insert Prints Inserts were printed using a .6mm nozzle and Bambu Lab PETG translucent filament. I only have 4 colors of translucent, so feel free to change to your own colors AMS allows up to 4 colors per print easily Infill patterns were chosen by object and not by the print, so there may be several infill patterns on a single print. All translucent inserts were printed using the Engineering Plate Textured Plate can be used, but the finished results are not as translucent. High Temp Plate made it difficult to remove the prints, so I would not recommend. Feel free to play around with different infill patterns in the slicer to customize! Select “Objects” in the Process menu select the object that you would like to change Change the “Sparse infill pattern” to one that supports 100% infill density There are no top or bottom layers, so the infill patterns will show up in the final print Frame Prints The frames were printed using a .4mm nozzle using some PLA+ that I had on-hand. Using the Textured Plate gives the frames a nice, finished look. The frames can snap together without the use of glue or screws Be careful opening the frame after snapping it together, if necessary (for changing inserts) Should be fine printed in any color and filament Frames have a ring on the top to hang with string/wire/hooks
