About this 3D model

The scale of these figures of British marines at the battle of Trafalgar is 1:72. The project recently got a boost from a request on this site for some British marines for a 1:100 scale HMS Victory. Chris, if you're reading this, thanks for getting me off my behind here ! My own model of the Victory is in 1:225 scale but now I, too, urgently need British marines. 1:225 scale is a bit small to print out 3d sailors for but still doable. I suspect that the gun and knife will need to be thicker than the realistic ones here. Will post my results at that scale here and adjust the models accordingly. Update 24-01-20026:To cover a larger range of situations on a warship, I have now added 17 new figures. I hope that they are useful. The size of the base versions of these figures is a bit larger than the size of the ordinary sailors and cannoneers (5-10%), as I usually print out my crews at 1:150 scale (half size) this hardly matters but at full size or larger it does so please reduce accordingly before printing, if needed.
