About this 3D model
The pictured design supports 2 PVC pipes. This lets easily store filament, which is a lot more efficient use of the space. Also another plus of this design is that you can print directly from the storge rack. Materials 3/4in PVC- desired length of shelf x 2 Drywall screws x 12 Drywall anchors x 12-used because of the amount of weight the rack has to support printed brackets Printing I printed them in PLA, but PETG is also perfectly fine Print out the “Bracket” file I recommend printing out 3 so that you can have two on the ends of the pipe and one in the middle for added support. Printed at 15% infill and 0.3 Layer height Installation Take your PVC pipe and attach the brackets If you using 3 brackets try to get 1 bracket roughly in the middle Using a level line up the rack against the wall at the desired install location take a pen or pencil and mark each of the holes, ensure the rack is level and straight when you do this remove the rack from the wall drill holes using a drill-bit sized according to your drywall anchors. Screw each bracket in to the anchors. I recommend doing the outermost holes first. Lastly ensure everything is tight, then add your filament. Tags
