A little words before Side Mount Spool Holder from @ryan.fransen is great, However i found it's up-right corner (top-front after installation) is not handling any strength, that means filament wastage. And personally i want it more clean look, So i make some changes. Additionally, Voron Style Spool Holders are added, some PFTE tube can turn into a very smooth roller, try it out! Boost Me Highlight of this remix: 85% filament usage compare to original on identical settings . Strong and durable design. Compatible with original parts (notice screw thread is left hand) Added Voron Style Spool Holders (use PFTE as roller) Adaptor for holding filament directly, or use a PC4-M10 fitting like original. Better sharp and angle optimization for better installation result. Print guideline: Main Body: use 3 walls, 20% infill, use a typical brim. AMS Lite Rotary/Basic Spindle Adapter: use 3 walls, 30% infll. One tube roller: use 4 walls, 40% infill plus, print it vertically. Two tube roller: use 3 walls, 30% infill minimal, print it laying down. Note: PETG or PLA+ are recommend. Cut the PFTE to 83mm length. The side mount uses four M3x12mm Hex bolts. Updated 22/3/2024 Side Mount Spool Holder V1 is functionally perfect, but the supports bothered me.
