About this 3D model
After purchasing a Steam Deck, I've been pondering a relatively lightweight carrying solution. Common gel cases and original hard shell bags are too bulky. By breaking down the needs, it's clear that there are three main points of protection for the Steam Deck: preventing the joysticks from being pressed and damaged in other bags, preventing scratches on the screen, and preventing scratches on the outer shell. The screen and outer shell can be protected with a film, so I designed this joystick protector. The hard shell design directly snaps onto the bottom of the joystick head, taking the pressure off the joystick, so you don't have to worry about the joystick being pressed and damaged when you carry it in a bag. The related force is transferred from the joystick head to the protector and then to the front outer shell. Note: One-piece printed part. The gap in the hinge design is approximately 0.4 millimeters. For optimal results, it is recommended to print with a 0.2 nozzle. Note 2: When the owner replaces other joysticks, the file can be modified by measuring the distance between the bottom of the new joystick head and the front outer shell of the machine. Note 3: The file already includes a buckle design. After printing, polish the parts, move the hinge a bit, and you can use it directly.
