DIY shifter for simracing. Tools needed: Soldering iron + tin Flathead screwdriver 2mm hex screwdriver Superglue (jumper wires) Hardware needed: 16 - M3x20 buttonhead screw 16 - M3 brass insert 2 - 626RS ball bearing 2 - 6000RS ball bearing 2 - M6 nut 2 - 10x17 compression spring 1 - 8x35 compression spring 1 - 9x30 tension spring cut in half 1 - M10 threaded rod cut to 55 mm length 1 - M6 threaded rod cut to 70 mm length 2 - microswitches - type does not matter 1 - Arduino (Uno, Nano, Mega…) Some wire. The assembly process i pretty straight forward if looking at de photos. the bearings should be a slight press fit.
