I have several small 250g spools for multi-color printing from different manufacturers. Unfortunately, these also have different inner diameters and widths. I have therefore built an AMS spool adapter so that I can use the small cardboard spools in the AMS. The adapter is designed so that it can be used for inner diameters of 40-63 mm. The adapter is designed so that the width can be set to the optimum width for the AMS. Assembly: Place the coil on the ring with cone Screw in the cone screw Screw the locking ring onto the second ring Fit the second ring, set the width of the bobbin adapter to 65-68 mm and then secure it against the cone nut with the locking ring. If the inserted bobbin is wide enough, the fixing ring can be omitted and the second ring is screwed in up to the cone screw.
