In some cases, light tapping with a hammer will be necessary to get the pieces to fit) Clip the hexagonal end of the spring onto the shaft sticking out of the left frame piece Press fit the spoon shaped piece onto the axel without collar Press fit the smaller gear on top of the spoon piece Press fit the axel assembly into the center bore of the spring, making sure that the axel sticks out slightly into the respective frame hole Press fit the trigger piece onto the collared axel Press fit the gear on top of the trigger Press fit the right frame onto the left frame, making sure all connector pieces and axel holes line up Pull back the trigger, load it up, and fling some filament! Exploded View for assembly: Notes: The spring tension may vary between filaments. I used Hatchbox PLA which did the trick, but PLA plus may be the better option for durability although it is untested. There is a replacement spring printed in the 3MF file, since they tend to wear out after extended use. This is V1 of the filament flinger and there may be small issues that need attending.
