This free painting guide will teach you about painting with sponges for results that are smooth, with a fine matte texture, and how to use that to get to fully painted and based small scale mechs in a quick, fun, and easy approach. I use these techniques for nearly every mech I model to get display pictures. Also included is a model of a hexbase that is slightly larger than plastic ones, but still fits on map hexes.
