The “Lid Lift Fixer” vents the chamber for printing PLA and PETG filament. Fits with and without a lid lifter. Version 3 adds an outside edge preventing it from moving under vibration. See photos! Have you been leaving the front door open to vent the chamber? Me too, and I was always worried someone would walk by and hit the front door, breaking it. As seen in the photos, this precision wedge supports the glass from the front all the way to the front feet of the AMS. This supports and protects the glass by distributing the weight of the AMS and up to 4kg of filament! Version 3 has a retaining edge on the top surface which prevents it from moving while printing at higher speeds. Simple to print and less filament used than many other solutions. BONUS: Simple to install and remove as needed WITHOUT removing the AMS. NOTE: I recommend NOT using the lid's knob to lift the glass when installing and removing. Instead, from the inside of the chamber push the glass up enough to insert the “Lid Lift”.
