They form small herds and despite their stocky size are able to navigate the waterways fairly well thanks to their large strong tail.Their most suprising ability is to elongate their neck extremely quickly. This ability evolved to help them find food originally. Being able to stretch their necks enables them to search underwater for food without totally submerging themselves.
