Model Description:This download contains a highly detailed model of a Soviet GAZ-AA truck, this is the 4-wheeled version, not to be mistaken with the GAZ-AAA which has 6. Documentation and references for the real vehicle were rigorously studied to make the model as geometrically accurate as possible, except in the cases where printability would have to be sacrificed (such as the fender thickness). Historical Description:The GAZ-AA was a Soviet-produced modification of the Ford Model AA truck. The soviet version featured slightly thicker steel and an upgraded suspension system. The vehicle was the most common truck used by the Soviet Red Army seeing service as a troop transport, with some versions being equipped with light armaments. In Armored Advance:In armored advance the GAZ-AA serves as a light troop carrier, able to move a squad around the battlefield, albeit without any way to defend itself. The vehicle may also serve as terrain in the game, being able to protect infantry from small-arms fire.
