His sharp tongue and quick wit are his most valuable weapons, enabling him to broker deals for essential supplies, smuggled goods, and illicit favours. His attire is a testament to his dual identity. He dons fine suits, carefully curated to blend in with the wealthy elite. Yet, for all his polished appearance, his origin is betrayed by his calloused hands and the faint whiff of factory fumes that even the most expensive colognes cannot mask. Chesterton knows he walks a razor-thin line: too much ambition could see him cast out or worse, while too little could see him devoured by the undercity’s perpetual hunger.
