Spiderman Hand INSPIRED Web String Art. *please read carefully* Walls set to ARCHANE. 0.4 nozzle. 0.2 layer height, DO NOT change the layer height as you will get errors or the strings wont slice. the string width and height is made for these settings. At least 15% infill otherwise the string won't have anything to latch on to, if you can maybe increase to 20%. I have included the colour 3mf. change the hand and frame to 1 colour for a quicker print time. Some strings ay fail, this is normal and do not panic. you could also be lucky and all complete. I have designed the model so that each string that travels from the hand to the frame will print twice. If the first string fails usually the second will be ok. if both strings complete then they will adhere to each other, either way you should end up with one string. The web completes one spiral, ive not had this fail. Print the strings at least a separate colour for best chance, even if you print the rest of the model the same colour. carefully trim any failed strings. either at the end or preferably pause the model at various points and trim as it prints. its just easier before too many strings print. The model photographed had failed strings and trimmed and as you can see even though some strings failed because it prints the strings twice you end up with all strings present. The model in shown spider-man colours is a 33hr print Lastly i have printed on Babulabs A1. i have not tested any other printer for this model, therfore cannot guarentee compatability. I have printed other string art on the mini without issue, by downloading your acknoledging that it has only been printed on the A1 and cannot guarentee any other printer.
