Or, if you have another project in mind, here's a giant set of legs pre-made and ready to go. As posed, these legs are about 175mm (over 6 and 3/4 inch) from the bottom of the feet to the top of the hips. Final height will vary with pose, but that gives you a ballpark idea of their gargantuan size. Zipped PDF instructions included, but skip the steps for everything above the waist.
