A creature from a rare and undocumented species, Hex was discovered after a series of mysterious attacks plagued the federation colony on Vega III. A squad of federation armed forces, lead by the Brightshield Syr Kona tracked the source of the attacks deep within the wild jungles where the beast was eventually cornered. Though the other G.F.P.S troops sought to kill the creature and the pack animals it had coerced into its service, Syr Kona felt a deep connection with the strange animal and instead worked to tame it.
