About this 3D model

This is my upgraded stand for the JSAUX ModCase, designed primarily to solve the problem of the original kickstand becoming loose over time. It features a mechanical locking mechanism with a spring, providing a distinct, tactile "click" when it locks into place. In theory, it can be used countless times without ever becoming loose. The overall dimensions have been designed to be strictly identical to the original part, meaning it adds zero extra bulk. After installing it, your Steam Deck with the JSAUX ModCase will still fit perfectly inside the official carrying case. I've added internal reinforcement ribs, and the side near the exhaust vent has been designed with a steep chamfer. This minimizes the contact area to ensure it does not affect cooling performance. In short, this is a more durable, never-loose replacement for the ModCase stand. It solves the original's durability issues without sacrificing portability or thermal efficiency. As you can see in the photos, the stand is not shown attached to a JSAUX ModCase or Steam Deck. However, I have personally tested and verified the fit using a 1:1 digital twin of the JSAUX ModCase mounting system. It is a perfect fit, so you can print with confidence.
