It features a magnetic foot-to-board connection, allowing Nova to stand firmly in place while still being easy to detach for dynamic posing and play. Each piece is easy to print and assemble. The arms are poseable, allowing Nova to hold accessories.This is a modular, assembly-friendly model. It can be printed without an AMS system on a small home printer. The model is fully detachable, prints quickly, and is easy to assemble. Some parts snap together, while others require a small amount of glue. Just make sure to wait until the model has cooled down a bit. You’ll likely hear a soft cracking sound—it’s nothing to worry about! This is a small support ledge breaking off, which helped the arms print properly. This ledge also provides slight resistance when rotating the arms, making them more stable, which is a bonus. How to Insert Magnets into the ModelYou’ll need 4 neodymium magnets, size 5×2 mm, for assembly.Important: Make sure to match the polarity — the magnets should attract, not repel!To embed magnets inside the model during printing, you’ll need to pause the print at the right moment — just before the cavity closes from the top. Here’s how to do it:1. Open the model in your slicer (e.g. Bambu Studio).2. Locate the last layer of the magnet cavity, just before the top is bridged over. If your layer height is 0.2 mm: In the legs, this is layer 15 In the hoverboard, it’s layer 143. Add a pause at the correct layer in your slicer: In Bambu Studio: go to Preview mode → right-click on the layer → Add Pause Print Pauses are already included in the provided .3mf file, but please double-check that they are active before printing.4. During printing, the printer will pause and move the toolhead aside automatically.5. Carefully insert the magnets into the cavities using your fingers or tweezers. ? Be sure to check the polarity! It’s best to pre-stack your magnets in matching pairs to verify the correct orientation.6. Resume the print from your printer’s screen.
