About this 3D model

Designed for Fujifilm Instax instant film, and using an instant back for the Lomography Diana F+ camera, the Pinstax brings the painterly beauty of pinhole to instant film for the impatient. The Instax Mini format is small and moderately expensive. Its speed - ISO 800 - is probably enough to scare you away from pinhole experimentation, but the horrible reciprocity failure characteristics are enough to to send you screaming into the streets. This project is an outgrowth of the Pinhead series of 3D printed pinhole cameras, and has been featured as a Hackaday project. Regrettably,at this juncture, the Pinstax is not a viable way to make delightful pinhole photographs. I will continue to work towards that goal, and feel free to help me attain that dream.
