About this 3D model
The Chieftain's Hall stands proudly atop its raised hill of rock and masonry, a constant safe haven for the needful folk of Old Town. The doors are open. The hearth is lit. The Chieftain is in, and he's been waiting for someone like you. This is the bastion of the Rustic Rebellion, standing defiant against the evil Wizards who have come to control Hagglethorn Hollow. Here is where the roots of the rebellion spread, where the copper-toothed Chieftain makes his covert plans to claim sovereignty over Hagglethorn Hollow once and for all. With a glittering grin he exposes those copper teeth as he listens to your party's proposal, then leads you from his hall across to the barracks tower and asks you to choose two of his finest warriors to accompany you on the raid.Generations later, the Hall still stands. Mostly. The Chieftain is long gone, the rebellion long crushed or long victorious depending on which old story you believe, and the hill of rock and masonry now plays host to whatever finds shelter there next. The hearth is cold. The doors hang from one hinge. The walls remember the speeches that were made here, and on quiet nights, they remember them out loud.Hagglethorn Hollow is a township built over the ruins of buildings that were built over the ruins of other buildings. As time passes, new adventurers discover the Hollow and rebuild it to their needs, only for some ancient forgotten calamity to rise once more and level the town to its foundations, leaving no survivors to warn of the cycle. The Chieftain's Hall has stood at the center of more than one rebellion.Bring Johnny Fraser-Allen's hand-crafted world of Hagglethorn Hollow to your tabletop. This print-ready STL set is part of the official Hagglethorn Hollow building line, hand-drawn, physically sculpted, and digitally scanned at the highest resolution by Johnny himself. No AI involvement at any stage of the design or sculpt. Every shingle, beam, and rope binding is the work of human hands.A note from Johnny:"The thatched roof of the Chieftain's Hall was a fun opportunity to really work a completely different shape language into these alternate rustic toppers. I kept the tower clean of any wattle and daub so the roof topper could sit on the table as its own building without the base. This was carried into all the thatch roof designs. Having these roofs able to sit on the table without the building bases helps create an even simpler settlement while the tile toppers are in play. Where the Guildhall's tile roof has a flat area at its center for some interesting play value, the thatch versions mass builds up at this center to create a towering structure. This gives further distinction and separates the looks of both toppers."The Chieftain's Hall and the Guildhall are designed as deliberate visual opposites: the thatched massing of Old Town pushing up against the tiled flat spires of the Wizarding District. They share a footprint, but they tell different stories. This bundle includes two complete versions:The Chieftain's Hall (intact) A three-part thatched building originally hand-sculpted by Johnny. Multiple internal play areas including a dungeon level beneath, with the raised stone-and-masonry hill giving the Hall a commanding silhouette across any Old Town board. The roof topper can sit on the table as its own building without the base, useful for quick settlement layouts. The Chieftain's Hall (ruined) The same building, generations later. Walls breached, roof collapsed, story unfinished. Fully compatible footprint with the intact version for timeline-jumping campaigns, swampland encounters, and "what happened here?" scenarios. The broken upper structure creates natural firing positions and dramatic line-of-sight opportunities. The Chieftain's Hall shares its main base with the Guildhall and both ruined versions, so the buildings sit together cleanly when arranged across the Old Town and Wizarding District. Its dungeon section is also shared with the Guildhall, Fisherman's Hut, and Hunter's Lodge, giving you continuous underground tiles beneath the town across four buildings.Crafted for modular play, the Chieftain's Hall connects seamlessly with the rest of the Hagglethorn Hollow building line, including the Barracks (its natural pairing), Longhouse, Homestead, Tavern, Cottage, Guildhall, Hunter's Lodge, and Fisherman's Hut, to populate a full village. Use it as a roleplaying centerpiece, a wargaming objective, or a display piece on a shelf.Because every model was scanned at the highest resolution we could capture, these files scale cleanly from 28mm tabletop pieces up to oversized centerpieces, desk decor, or weatherproof garden ornaments.Three print options are included for each Chieftain's Hall:Cut and Supported: the recommended version, cut and pre-supported for printers with a print bed of 200mm x 200mmSmall Printer folder: cut pieces sized for smaller printers with a print bed of 120mm x 120mmChieftain's Hall Complete folder: uncut, unsupported pieces for larger format printers and clean scalingFiles included:Hagglethorn-Chieftains-Hall cut and supported pieces (intact, 200mm)Hagglethorn-Chieftains-Hall small printer 120mm cuts (intact)Hagglethorn-Chieftains-Hall Complete uncut, unsupported version (intact)Ruined-Chieftains-Hall cut and supported pieces (200mm)Ruined-Chieftains-Hall small printer 120mm cutsRuined-Chieftains-Hall Complete uncut, unsupported versionSuggested print orientation reference (.PDF)
