About this 3D model

As it is often observed in pieces from the Renaissance, the work of art contains architectural elements from the Antiquity. In general such architecture was used to give an illusion of depth in the relief. Here the capitals are in a Corinthian style and the whole of the architectural elements are golden, which conveys the impression of a golden frame. It also interesting to underline that gold is often a reference to the presence of God, which would here mean that the Son is embraced by the Father.
